Spyhold: The Alternative to a Nicotine Can

Though Spyhold was founded only recently, the brand is already appearing in golf shops at some of the finest clubs in the country.
A slim, origami-inspired case for nicotine pouches, nootropics, and everyday indulgences, Spyhold Co-Founder Eric Mayville said, “The problem was obvious. Nicotine pouches are discreet. The can in your pocket is not.”
“Spyhold is slim enough to vanish in a pocket. No bulk, no rattle, no tell.”
Though Spyhold initially gained traction as a premium pouch carrier, customers have quickly expanded its applications.
“We’re seeing people use it for nicotine pouches, gum, mints, medication, cash, valuables, and other everyday carry items,” said Mayville. “Regardless of what it’s used for, golfers appreciate craftsmanship, attention to detail, and objects that make daily rituals feel a little more intentional.”
A great product in and of itself, Spyhold also serves as a reminder that golf shops are evolving. With one club in New York noting that “accessories saw the largest spike in sales” and another in Florida observing that “members and guests don’t want another blue striped shirt,” Spyhold provides a discreet storage solution while also giving golfers the opportunity to purchase something different.
“We’ve found that golfers are drawn to products they don’t already own, especially when they solve a real problem,” said Mayville. “Spyhold isn’t another shirt or hat. It’s an entirely new category that’s genuinely useful, and because it’s something people carry and reach for throughout the day, it gets touched even more often than a wallet. We believe everyday objects should be as well designed and thoughtfully made as the items people wear. When you add a club logo, it becomes something golfers are even more drawn to.”
